- Wales are unbeaten in their last nine home internationals, winning seven.

Wales to Reach the Top Tier
Wales need just a point to top League B-4 and secure promotion to the top flight of the UEFA Nations League when they entertain Finland this week, and we’re tipping the Dragons to see the job through despite Finland’s excellent recent form.
Indeed, it’s been a tremendous 12 months or so for these two nations. Both have clinched their place in Euro 2020 next summer and between them, they’ve dominated this section of the Nations League from the get-go.
Wales crucially have a one-point advantage over the Finns who have won four from five and that’s largely due to their 0-1 success in Helsinki two months ago.
There was little between the sides that night and we expect much the same here, with the visitors in equally superb form to the Welsh. Finland’s 1-2 victory in Bulgaria on Sunday made it four wins in five on all fronts for Markku Kanerva’s charges and they are undoubtedly a team who warrant a great deal of respect.
But we’re backing Wales to follow-up their triumph in the reverse fixture and extend their unbeaten home sequence to ten games (W7, D2). They should edge another tight one and 1-0 is our correct score prediction as Ryan Giggs’ side have maintained a clean sheet in all but one of their last six matches.
