Anyone seen this yet? Hooter’s used to run an actual one dollar game for years, I never saw an empty seat. Just curious with the reduced crowds and DTG’s historically underpopulated casino if seats are available and if the game rules are different.

  2. Walked through a couple wks ago, it was a Wed or Thu late afternoon / early evening. Saw where they would play it, but the table was closed/empty. As was much of the casino.

I believe for the years that the Sahara promoted that they had $1 Blackjack 24/7 it was 3:2 until the last few months before they closed. Then they had a table that was off to the side of the regular pit that was “$1 Blackjack” but unless you were playing $5 minimum at that table, Blackjack paid even money….

  6. Oh it was completely fun! Many a time a dealer would have to call out, “doubling on a bust hand” when we’d double on a 12. I think my best session there was a whopping win of $8 bucks!

    Tis the season!

The dollar 6/5 game was at DTG today.

GN had three $5 6/5 tables today and tonight. Hate 6/5, but at least decent mins. I opted for 3CP instead.

Was downtown this weekend and had a surprisingly good time at the downtown grands $1 black jack table. Had good drink service and got hours of play for pennies on the hour. Black only pays 1.50 on a dollar bet which i felt was fair. The $5 bet only got you $6 for a blackjack..which to me seems crazy. I would understand if it was just and even money payoff on the $1 level play. Never had to wait for a spot and saw tons of people playing $5 to $10 a hand at the dollar table. If you want to grind out some cheap black jack i think it is way better than the old hooters $1 table for convenience for downtown visitors.
