TITLE: Graphic Designer

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing

REPORTS TO: Sales & Marketing Director and Assistant Sales & Marketing Director


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: – Knowledgeable and efficient in Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. – Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of design experience – Experience with preparing files for printer with proficiency in 4-color process; preferred but not required. – Creative portfolio demonstrating proficiencies in publication design and layout. – Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a very deadline driven environment. – Excellent communications skills; ability to take a proactive approach to creative and cross-functional communication. – Knowledge of Sales & Marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling product and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing and promotional materials. 2. Designs print advertisements, posters, backlits, signs, collateral materials. 3. Creates billboard layouts. 4. Output materials for media and print vendors to generate finished product. 5. Placement of all media. 6. Works closely with Web Developer and Assistant Sales and Marketing Director to meet the overall marketing goals and provides support as needed. 7. Manages the Daktronic signs. 8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Efficient in Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. 2. Ability to work in fast-paced atmosphere with daily deadlines. 3. Good communication and telephone skills. 4. Knowledge of marketing principals 5. Public relation skills, professional appearance. 6. Self motivated, highly organized, ability to manage multiple projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Sit for long periods of time. 2. Oral communication.
