TITLE: Kiosk/Concessions Shift Leader
DEPARTMENT: Kiosk/Concessions/Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Kiosk Manager SUPERVISES: Kiosk/Concessions Associates
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Must have past experience in the food service. Supervisory skills are a must. To maintain all levels of supervision and maintenance of operation in the fast food restaurant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Hands on Shift Leader. 2. Trains new employees. 3. Monitors and ensures enforcement of departmental policies and procedures. 4. Monitors and controls acceptable labor and food costs. 5. Follows up and maintains labor and food costs. 6. Prepares staffing schedules to acceptable percentage and proper coverage to ensure guest satisfaction. 7. Analyze staffing needs, business and business trends. 8. Maintains cash and control and changeover procedures. 9. Orders product and receives into inventory. 10. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards of Shift Leader Position. 11. Regular punctuality necessary. 12. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment. 13. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Good decision-making skills. 2. Good communication skills. 3. Knowledge of casino policies. 4. Knowledge of department procedures. 5. Knowledge of all functions of fast food. 6. Problem solver. 7. Knowledge of scheduling of employees. 8. Flexibility in scheduling. 9. Human relation skills. 10. Employee and employer regulations knowledge. 11. Cost control knowledge. 12. Ability to follow through.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Normal mobility throughout the facility 2. Able to work under stressful conditions. 3. Able to stand for long periods of time. 4. Able to lift 25-35 lbs.
